The job will mostly require you to create the material images to be displayed on the game screen; it could be said this job determines the visual image of the game. Created materials are not only confined to the development of the game; they will be used for various publicity purposes, such as advertising and packaging.
In addition, you might be required to work on symbol designs for the onscreen system menu. This job will require you to prepare menus, symbol designs and original fonts using 2DCG tools. Symbol designs and original fonts will constantly be seen by the game players; it is a task not to be taken lightly.
Mainly PHOTOSHOP, Painter, FLASH and Illustrator will be used for the work.

Having a thorough knowledge of new-generation visual expressions, give advice and instructions on technical aspects to designers in all areas; this job inclines more toward technology than the position of Art Director.
In an environment where the next-generation game hardware is being constantly released, in order to respond to technological change in the visual aspects, visual expression based on cinematic methodology will be necessary. tri-Ace is looking for a director who has the ability to incorporate his/her keen interest and in-depth technical knowledge into such technologies. Prior work experience as a technical director is certainly not an absolute prerequisite, but a very high technological background is required.
Basically giving technical instructions is the main part of the job, but from time to time there will be a need for ordinary designer's work and naturally such skills are needed. Mainly MAYA and 3dstudio Max are used for the work.

Manage all the designers and unify the total visual image of a project.
The ability to clarify visual concepts and create an environment where each staff member can work as part of a team with a shared vision is required. Cooperation with the directors of other sections and management of schedules relating to artwork is also necessary.
We are looking for a person who has experience of managing designers and ideally, with experience of game production as a designer. Applicants should be able to grasp the planning content from specification documents, give explanations to designers and allocate work, and check quality throughout the production process.
